Refuge in the Three Jewels — the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha — is at the heart of Buddhist practice. Students of Chhoje Rinpoche’s meet regularly for meditation and discourse. As a group of practitioners, we support one another’s dharma practice, sharing our experiences and creating a conducive environment for deepening our understanding of basic sanity — enlightened Buddha nature.

Chhoje Rinpoche’s new North American seat, The Padmasambhava Meditation Center of the Rockies, offers a sacred space and place of refuge to practice and study meditation and Buddhist practice. Rinpoche offers meditation instruction, Dharma talks, classes and weekend workshops on a variety of subjects as his schedule permits. At the present time, the center offers:
Thursday Evening Meditations: Weekly meditation sessions are held every Thursday evening from 7:00-9:00 pm. Attendance is free. Everyone is welcome, from beginners to more advanced practitioners. When Chhoje Rinpoche is in town, he will give meditation instruction and guidance. When he is traveling, we will listen and watch video recordings of Dharma talks, practice silent meditation and have time for questions and discussion. Ngondro Study Group: Dates for the autumn 2014 evening study and practice sessions for the short Dudjom Tersar Ngondro, or the foundational practices, will be announced soon. During these groups, usually 90 minutes in length, we review the components of the short Dudjom Tersar Ngondro practice, step by step, learning the meaning, melody and visualization. The group is open to those who have received teachings and transmission from Chhoje Rinpoche (or another qualified Lama/Dudjom Tersar Lineage holder), or those who intend to receive transmission soon. When Rinpoche is travelling, sessions will be led by Tara Roberts, a longtime student of Chhoje Rinpoche’s. If you wish to do the practice and receive a recording of Chhoje Rinpoche’s recent teachings on the meaning of the practice, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Meditation Study Groups and Noon Time Drop-In Silent Meditations: Additional dates for meditation sessions are in the works. These include classes for new students, or student who are re-discovering their meditation practice. Dharma discussion groups are forming. Your feedback is welcome as we try to set up times to meet the needs of the community. We will send out an email to our mailing list and post those opportunities on our website as soon as they have been scheduled.
