Event Details

As we are discovering, now is the perfect time to revitalize and renew all aspects of our Dharma practice.

PMC hosts a preliminary practices (ngondro) practice group for those who are doing (or have completed) the Dudjom Tersar Ngondro practice, and the requisite accumulations. The benefits of this beautiful, profound, and supportive practice are immediate and far-reaching.
Host
Tara Roberts has been a student of His Eminence Chhoje Rinpoche’s since 1986 and is deeply familiar with this practice.
Requirements
One needs to have received the transmission of these practices from a qualified teacher in order to offer this practice. You may attend any session you like, however, attending from the beginning of the session to the end is requested.
Dates and Time
NEW DATE:  Friday mornings at  8 AM MST .  Effective January 22, 2021

Practice Session Length and Description
The session will last for one hour. It will include recitation of 21 Vajrasattva mantras and 300 Vajra Guru mantras. We will recite both the Tibetan and the English. To minimize the audio disruption, participants will be muted during the actual practice.
Texts
We will be using the Yeshe Melong translation of the basic preliminary practice text. We will also begin with opening prayers and conclude with dedication prayers. We will distribute copies of the texts we plan to recite, including the specific translations of opening and closing prayers to those who RSVP below.
Reference Reading
A review of A Torch Lighting the Way to Freedom, the Complete Instructions on the Preliminary Practices by His Holiness Jigdral Yeshe Dorje (Dudjom Rinpoche) is recommended. His Holiness [Dudjom Rinpoche] taught that the realization of the Great Perfection depends entirely on these preliminary practices. Detailed instructions for how to do the practice are contained in this reference book.
Access
We will host this program via Zoom conferencing software. To join us, please RSVP below with your email address.  Once you RSVP, you will be receiving an email from Tara Roberts directly with the Zoom link and the texts and relevant details.

If possible, please allow ample time - at least a day / to send those texts to you. If you are new to this version of the practice, we will provide instructions on how to do the recitations, the melody and the visualizations.
