A Weekend Retreat with Brendan Kennedy Online
Join us for a weekend of meditation instruction and practice with meditation master Brendan Kennedy!
Guru Rinpoche gave this pith instruction to lady Yeshe Tsogyal: “By rejection, samsara is not left behind. It is freed within itself by letting be.” The practice of rang bap is letting go of all the things that prevent us from being who we really are, which is already perfect and complete. And at the same time, it’s letting or allowing what we already are to be as it is. That’s happening simultaneously. It’s purifying by letting go and it’s clarifying or realizing by being what it is, what it already is.
Rang bap – rang is the self, bap is settling. It is self-purifying, self-clarifying, and self-realizing. That is happening by itself when we just
simply let or allow even though we may not be conscious of that.
