Bodhisattva Buddies Drop-in Classes

Bring your little ones to learn about meditation and mindfulness on Sunday mornings!  Our children's program, Bodhisattva Buddies, explores mindfulness and child-friendly Buddhist lessons together through the sharing of stories and art.  Parents and guardians are welcome to join in our meetings or may use the time to do their practice in the shrine room upstairs.

Meetings: 11:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m. are followed by social time with snacks for children and their parents/guardians until 12:30 p.m.

Ages: Children ages four years and older. They must be toilet trained and otherwise developmentally able to participate. Younger children are always welcome provided they attend with a caregiver.

Cost: Minimum donation of $5. Participants under the age of four who are accompanied by parents may participate for free.

About the program leader: Lessons are led by a long-time community member, mother of two, and graduate of Naropa University with a Masters in Buddhist Studies with a Concentration of Contemplative Religion.  Feel free to reach out if you have any questions: jmuratsuchi@gmail.com.
