Shower of Blessings Tsok

Join us on Friday, March 31, 2023,   set up at 5:00 pm, and practice begins at 6:00pm MST We will practice the Shower of Blessings feast offering (Tib. tsok) for the tenth day of the first lunar month which falls this year on  March 31, 2023. The tsok (feast offering) practice is offered to celebrate each tenth day, Guru Rinpoche Day, in every lunar month. Each Guru Rinpoche day commemorates a particular episode from Padmasambhava's life as support to practitioners who wish to deepen their relationship with him, the buddha of our troubled age. During the 2nd month: Guru Rinpoche receives monastic ordination (rabjung) from Ananda, a disciple of the Buddha. Displaying an unparalleled comprehension and complete mastery both of the sutras and of the tantras, he is known as Śakya Senge, "Lion of the Sakyas."
