Transmissions of Healing Practices: Nolsang and Riwo Sangchö with H.E. Chhoje Tulku Rinpoche

Various practices exist to purify the obscurations of body, speech, and mind, and to heal different kinds of sickness in the Vajrayana tradition.

Recently, the Nechung Oracle prophesized that two specific practices are extremely beneficial to offer while we are in the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic. These practices are both offerings of burnt substances. The first is Padmasambhava's smoke offering for contamination, (Tib. nolsang), and the second is the mountain purification practice (Tib. riwo sangchö).

Through these practices, we are able to purify the body, speech, and mind, and impure energies which are the causes of our sickness and instability in life; they affect various aspects of our lives like our spiritual practice, our health, our wealth, our harmony with others, and positive energies. As these obstacles are purified, our physical and mental well-being are healed and revived. Thus, this extremely important practice has been performed for centuries in the high mountains of Tibet.

Within these practices, Rinpoche will also give the transmission for two others. First, invoking the guardian deity, the drala or dralha; each and every one of us is born with this deity. When the deity is low, nothing works well in our lives--friendships, business, and health will not go well. When the drala is raised up, everything will go smoothly and successfully in one's life. 

Second, from time to time, good-fortune energy can be lost as well--including that which supports our wealth, friendship, etc.--having been stolen by both visible and invisible forces. When this energy has been dispersed, nothing goes well in our lives. Rinpoche will give the transmission for this short practice called yangguk which will gather the dispersed energy back toward oneself. 

Those who RSVP to this event will receive an email with links to video instructions on how to prepare the offering substances and work through the liturgy. We will also provide copies of the two liturgies themselves.
