Shower of Blessings Tsok Practice

Join us on Wednesday, October 5th, setup at 5:30 pm , practice begins at 6:30 pm MST We will practice the Shower of Blessings feast offering (Tib. tsok) for the tenth day of the seventh lunar month which falls this year on Wednesday October 5th. The tsok (feast offering) practice is offered to celebrate each tenth day, Guru Rinpoche Day, in every lunar month. Each Guru Rinpoche day commemorates a particular episode from Padmasambhava's life as support to practitioners who wish to deepen their relationship with him, the buddha of our troubled age. During the eighth month: "The non-Buddhists attempt to poison the Guru, but he transforms the poison into amrita (nectar). He becomes luminous and inspires faith in the non-Buddhists.
